The short version

Pounce stores what it needs to apply to jobs on your behalf, uses it for exactly that, and deletes it when you ask. That's the whole policy; the rest is detail.

What we store

  • Your profile and resume — the material Bambi tailors from.
  • The applications you run: job postings, the tailored resumes and answers Bambi drafts, and a log of what he did on each one.
  • Your email address and a session cookie so you can sign in. That's the only cookie.

What it's used for

Running the service — tailoring resumes, filling applications, tracking your pipeline. To do that work, your profile and the job posting are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude API); we send what the task needs and nothing more. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with advertisers — there are no advertisers.

Deletion

Ask, and it's gone. Reply to any email Pounce has sent you (a sign-in link counts) and we'll delete your account and everything in it — profile, resumes, applications, logs.

Beta honesty

Pounce is in beta and this page may evolve with it. If something changes materially, we'll say so here in the same plain English.
